Guest guest
Namaskarams. The Claim that the amnaya Shankara Mutts are following the ‘ Saparya Paddathi is based on the information published by the Mandali of HH Guhunanada and I am entitled to assume the correctness of it. As per the personal information I have from the “ Sri Shankara Bhagawathpadacharya Paramparagatha Moolamnaaya Peetam or Sarvaghnya Peetam “ well known as Kaamakoti peetam at Kaanchi , the procedures as established by HH Chidanada Nathar is followed . At Kaamakshi temple. The Chief priests who are well known to me have been initiated directly based on the Divine directions of Maha Periyavaal by HH Chidanada Nathar and some by His disciples. Navavarana puja was stopped for some unknown reasons at Kaamakshi temple, which was revived after about 75 yrs by HH Chidanada Nathar on directions again from MahaSwamygal. It is a very well known fact that HH Chidananda Nathar was widely recognized as an authority in Sri Vidya and Vedanta, who had reestablished Srividya in south during a difficult time when Brahmins shunned it as Avaidic. He was very close to Both Sringeri Mutt and Kaanchi Mutt and any mistakes of the mantras or procedures would have been discussed presumably. As to the differences in procedures in the saparya paddathi followed at Sringeri relating to Patra Sthapan Krama, Amaaya samashti Puja etc cannot be commented in the absence of details. As to the Comment, as to the “ Probable Printing Mistakes . It has only two intentional mistakes of a very minor nature for copy right reasons in the Eighth Avarana Puja and Dhandini namaani .. These are informed to the prospective shishyas in advance who intend to do NP . This reminds of an instance of a Very famous Vedic scholar approaching Maha Swamy to carry out standardization for “ SANDYA VANDANA” procedures which as per his knowledge had 100 variants. Maha Swamygal replied in his own characteristic style, that he Wanted to know why the scholar wanted to increase the number from “100 to 101 “. The Message of Mahaswamy was very clear. There would be” N “ number of procedures but what is important is not the procedures PERSE but the “ Thatwartham “ of Sri Vidya Navavarana Puja which induces the Advaitha Bhavam by Devi’s grace.
