Durga Sapatashloki/Durga Homam

Greetings. Requesting a clarification on Durga Saptashloki.

 

1. I know that Durga Saptashloki is deemed to be the essence of Durga

Saptasati or Devi Mahadmyam and it can be taken up for for japa by

itself (I have seen its own Anga/kara Nyasa). Does it mean that the

Durga Saptashloki can be used for performing Durga Homam too - in the

same way as Devi Mahadmyam and Lakshmi Hrudayam are used for Chandi

and Lakshmi Homams respectively?

 

2. Secondly, is there a practice (or allowed) to use Devi Suktam

(along with Durga Suktam) in Durga Homam?

 

3. Third, can the Navadurga moola mantras (a few avarti's each) also

be included in a generic Durga homam? Or is not advisable?
