saundarya lahari digest by Prof V K

Many many thanks to Prof V Krishnamurthy for sharing the Saundarya

lahari digest with all of us. On a personal level it has been a great

experience. I had received the English translation of the Acharya's

commentary published by the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in July 2003. I

had started reading it and just when I was a few chapters through,

Prof V K started writing the digest. So after that, my reading of

the two went almost simulataneously. The timing was so perfect, it

was like getting 'a guide' in addition to the text book . It

enhanced my understanding of this great work and brought out a lot of

latent bhakti. As Prof V K himself says it is a wealth of

information and everytime I read it I come out with a new perspective

on the meaning. Thank you Prof V K, for this monumental work and by

the grace of ambaa I am sure you will be sharing more such works

with all of us.
