Recalling HH again.

 

quote ;

 

HH said the knowledge of Reality or Jana and the Upasana are entirely different.

While Upasana was mental action, Jnana which also belonged to the realm of mind

IS NOT ACTION.

 

action is something done in OBEDIENCE to an injunction. When the knowledge of

reality is comprehended, the mind continues to dwell in that reality and did not

respond to any injunction whether that injunction came from any external agency

or was the result of the prompting of senses.

 

the concept of action could be explained by simple illustration.

 

Here is a bunch of fruits Yellow in color. when I say -- SEE this is Yellow, you

concur and manifest no reaction because it is really yellow.

 

On the other hand if I say SEE this is Red or See this is Black you React and

promptly say this is only Yellow.

 

But let us see it differently. -- I say Imagine this to be Red -- You are able

to follow this direction. Therefore action is related to the Sphere of

injunction.

 

Upasana belongs to this category of Mental action. You concentrate on God,

imagining He or She is like this or that, untill the real Jnana dawns on you and

you understand God as He really is.

 

Therefore you do not react to any direction to worship this or that form.

In view of this it appears to me that the Sanatna Dharma includes all forms of

worship and religion in the world by whatever name called and whatever practice

one follows.

 

Recalling Paramahamsa who shared his experiences to the world confirmed this

fact after being a Christain or a Muslim for a few days.
