Guest guest
I request the members to ensure, whenever tantras-s are quoted, that they fall in line with shruti-smRti-puraaNa-s. We would like works that do not fall in line with them out of this list, specially those that adhere to vAmAchAra have no place here. Since I am not well versed with works that go by the name tantra, I need your help in ensuring that. brahmANDa puraaNa describes the birth of mAtangi in greater detail (see /message/474) and she is referred in bahvRchopanishad. And reference to sage matanga comes in rAmayana as well /message/242). Thanks.
