Guest guest
Dear All, Namaste. This query does not directly relate to Ambaa-l but I writing this email in the hope that some of the members may be aware of the details I am seeking or point to a source the information may be got. I recently got a copy of Shatru Samhara Trishati of Lord Subrahmanya which apparently is very rare. I am told that : 1. This Trishati is NOT for daily use (Parayanam) 2. This should be used only for Karya Siddhi (specific outcomes - mainly destroying enemity/enemies). 3. This is preferably done at temples rather that at home. In temples too, it is better if the main idol is Shanmukha (6-faced) since the Trishati is divided into 6 x 50 Names (50 names for each). I would really appreciate if any authentic information in this regard. Thanks a lot in advance, Murali
Guest guest
Dear All, Namaste. Thank you very much for the inputs. I have received a couple of emails seeking details and copy of this stuti. 1. I am, in fact, looking for more information on this stuti. It is possible that this stuti is used only in temples in special occasions like Yaga/Yagyas. I was told that it is possible to arrange for Trishati archana in temples like Kunrakkudi (near Karaikudi) - perhaps where Shanmukha idol is there. But I also heard from my purohit sometime ago that a special puja can be arranged at home for Subrahmanya with this Trishati. So, I am not sure which version is true or both are true - in other words, I am looking for authentic prescriptions. 2. The copy I have is on paper taken from a very old book and some of the characters are not very clear. I will arrange to key in the same in iTRANS and post it in pdf format in a week or two. The archana was performed with golden flowers and Swaminathaswamy was adorned with a golden sahasranamamalamala during the occasion. > > Regards, > Sudarshan Iyer > > India Matrimony: Find your life partneronline. > >
Guest guest
Dear All, Namaste. 1. My sincere thanks to Abhidaya, Ravi and Harsha for taking efforts to clarify the purpose, usage and procedure for chanting Shatru Samhara Trishati. 2. As can be expected, there are some slight differences with respect to the qualifications required to chant this stuti and procedure to be followed. I think it is best seek one's Guru's permission to chant this stuti with full instructions on the procedure. 3. Since I myself am not initiated into Subrahmanya mantra and therefore don't have adhikara even to chant this stuti, I was wondering whether I had any authority to distribute it. I subsequently intereacted with Harsha about the request by many to send a copy of this stuti. Harsha also feels that it should NOT be distributed. May I seek the pardon and kind understanding of the members in this regard. With regards, Murali , Abhiadya <abhiadya> wrote: > > 1. Is this stuti for general purpose or specific > > purpose?
