Guest guest
The trishati archana/homam is possible in all temples with a Murugan sannidhi. As the name itself suggests there is no need to chant this unless required. Needless to say it requires initiation. If there is a need to propitiate Muruga, there is the ashtothara shatanama and sahasranama both are equally good and pleasing too. I know for sure that the text for the Trishati is available in Giritrading in tamil/skt. also most priests will be having the text. regards Vishwanathan --- kmurali_sg <kmurali_sg wrote: > Dear All, > > Namaste. Here is the brief of what i have discussed with him yesterday on this. Shatu Samhara literally does not mean, that the enenmy would be destroyed. "The enemity will be destroyed". The enemity could be in one's self or in others. The negativity in the person, or the negativity in the other person could be causing trouble to one, directly or indirectly. In order to destroy the enemy(the negativity or the negative thoughts) we chant these stuti's.
