Namaste,

Teleugu Migrants are more in Karnataka than in

Tamilnadu.

Most brahmins in Karnataka except those in the Gokarna

belt (They are Maharashtrians) and the costal belt

were orignally from Andhra.

They follow Andhra Sampradaya including the wearing of

sarees, nose rings (Tamilians pierce the the right

side as opposed to the left of Andhras), the muhurta

in a wedding is Jeeriga and Jaggery, two mangalyams as

pointed out by Sri. Ganapathi as also various other

practices.

Amongst whole of southindia, Andhra brahmanas are

considered to have superior mastery on the vedas, than

any other parts in general. More so those on the East

Godavari district.

My two cents.
