Guest guest
Namaskaram to all As with good quality Spatika, I have seen that good quality and correct Rudraksha beads are not available easily. I could get a 5-faced rudraksha bead for as low as Rs.5/- at Dubba Chetty shop in Mylapore, while one has to pay a good price if it is to be bought (or atleast, claimed to!) from Shirdi or Nepal. I also believe Ramakrishna Mission has some good rudraksha beads/mala available. I am not sure if anyone has anuy information. One can get rudraksha mala from the Sri Matam in Kanchi, but I found the holes were not natural and more often the holes hit the face of the bead, though the person selling them claims to have got them from Nepal. Maybe if we spend a lot of time we can inspect and buy. I wonder if there are places where we can buy rudraksha beads or mala at affordable prices. I wonder if there are some yardsticks to check while trying to purchase rudraksha. Best wishes R. Kasthuri Rangan
