This verse indicates one of the core aspect of sharaNagati. It is upto

the ambA how SHE handles the life of her devotee.

Approximate Translation:

Give me death in kAshi (which is a moxapuri) or give me that amidst

chaNDaala-s. After death lead to svarga and give me moxa, or make me

suffer in hell. Enable me to receive your grace today or make me wait

for a long time. What is my hurry? Is it not the responsibility of the

owner how he handles his wealth?

--

Once surrendered, the devotee has no more worries. It is upto HER.

Whether SHE makes him a king and govern the world. Or SHE makes him a

lowliest servant working hard unknown to the world. If the life is

dedicated to HER in service, in this drama of life SHE can give any

role SHE sees fit and as director it HER job. And as an actor it is

devotee's job to do what best he can wherever he is placed.

There is wonderful quote by Ramana highlighting the same. It reads:

"Surrender to HER and abide by HER will, whether SHE appears or

vanishes; await HER pleasure. If you ask HER to do as you please, it

is not surrender but command! You cannot have HER obey you and yet you

think you have surrendered. SHE knows what is best and when and how.

Leave everything entirely to HER, the burden is HERS.

You have no longer cares. All your cares are Hers. That is surrender.

That is bhakti"
