The Shiva Panchakshari is solely to the Nirgunabrahman in the form

of Shiva while the Shakthi Panchakshari actually includes the bija

for Shakthi as well...if we read the dhyana shloka of the latter, it

describes what I fondly refer to as the First Family... Shiva, with

his left arm around Gauri, with Ganapathi and Subramanya flanking

the parents. Thus, this image is to be contemplated on while

reciting the Shakti Panchakshari. The Shiva Panchakashari's dhyana

shloka brings out the the resplendent form of the Father alone.

Naturally, the anga and the karan nyasas will also be different for

the two mantras.

I am eager to see our learned members augment this information as

well.
