Guest guest
Please see http://www.ambaa.org/pdf/veda_mAtA_gAyatrI_v1.pdf This was compiled by k_murali_sg of our list. Many thanks to him. I am trying to consolidate all the PDF files we have and we can get (with source/permission data) on this page. It lacks an index file. But the files are named as clearly as possible. I will add the index soon. http://www.ambaa.org/pdf/ Thank you.
Guest guest
Dear all, Namaste. Thank you Sri. Ravi for posting the following work in the ambaal website. I thought it might be apt to say a few words in this connection. 1. My experience with collecting the stutis has been that these stutis are rarely available in one source, in full with complete procedures and fully edited (& made easier for our generation to understand and chant). My endeavor has been in this regard only. 2. I had sent a copy of the same to Sri. Kanchi and Sringeri Acharyal. I am fortunate to receive the blessings of Sri. Kanchi Acharya yesterday with His consent to freely distribute this ebook to those who need it. He has also emphasized the prime importance of performing Gayatri Japam. 3. I am also planning to come out with another expanded version soon. I am planning to include other stutis like Savitri Panjaram, Gayatri Tattva, Gayatri Upanishad, Gayatri Chalisa, etc. I would be happy to include any further stutis/suggestions which would make the compilation comprehensive. I will also appreciate any help in terms of pointing out any glaring errors in this version. 4. I am also searching for stutis on Savitri. Any help in this regard would be highly appreciated - even if it is pointing to the possible sources of information. For example, I understand that there is a Savitri Sahasranamam but I am unable to get any further information about it. 5. Lastly, for my own use, I have prepared a list of short puja versions on several deities (e.g. Vinayaka, Saraswati, Vishnu, Shiva, Durga etc.) - basically for people with less time but would like to a mini-Puja. The typical format is - a few dhyana slokas, a short namavali archanai (typically less than 32 namas), mantras/gayatri, a short prayer and a mangalam. I would be happy to share the same with anyone who might need them. Thanks & Regards, Murali , "Ravisankar S.
