Dear devotees,

 

 

 

By the grace of the Universal Mother Goddess Durga Parameshwari, the 432 day

long “AYUTHA CHANDIKAA YAAGA WITH 9 NAVAMANDALA PUJAS” was successfully

completed recently. We are highly pleased to announce that during this yajna, on

a very auspicious day, both Lord Mahaganapathy and the Mother (as

Sinhavahini) blessed us by appearing in the yajna fire [still pictures (photos)

of the same are available]. It was indeed a rare event during which the Mother

Goddess has blessed and commanded the Chief Priest Shrii P.S. Aravinda Bhatta to

perform ONE LAKH CHANDIKA HOMAMS in 1000 days for establishing universal peace,

harmony and prosperity. In accordance with the intuitive instructions of the

Mother, it is proposed to perform the same.

 

 

 

A very brief introduction to the programs of the proposed LAKSHA CHANDIKA YAJNA

is as follows:

 

 

 

1. One Lakh (1,00,000) Chandika Yajna

 

[ One lakh chandika homams in one altar for 1000 days i.e., 100 chandika havans

in the same altar for 1000 days (3 years) ].

 

 

 

2. Ten Lakh (10,00,000) Modaka Ganapathy Homam

 

 

 

3. Ten Athi Rudra Yajnas (110 Maharudras)

 

[ 1 Maharudra = 121 priests chanting the “Shrii Rudram” 11 times]

 

 

 

4. Ten Crore (10,00,00,000) Ganapathy Moola Manthra Japa Yajnam

 

 

 

5. Nine Crore (9,00,00,000) Chandika Navakshari Japa Yajnam

 

 

 

6. Six Crore (6,00,00,000) Subrahmanya Shadakshari Japa Yajnam

 

 

 

7. One Lakh (1,00,000) Lalitha Sahasranama Parayanam

 

 

 

8. One Lakh (1,00,000) Ganapathi Atharvashiirsha Parayanam

 

 

 

9. Fifty Lakh (50,00,000) Durga Namaskaras

All the above mentioned rituals / programmes, will take place under the divine

Presidentship of Paramapoojya Jagadguru Shankaracharya of the Ramachandrapur

Mutt,

Also, we take immense pleasure to announce that Chief Priest Shrii P.S. Aravinda

Bhatta has been blessed with a golden Meru Shrii Chakram by H.H. Jagadguru

Shankaracharya of Shringeri Sharadaa Piitam, Shrii Shrii Shrii Bharathii

Thiirtha Mahaswamigal. His Holiness was extremely happy to learn about this yaga

mahotsav and thus gave the Shrii Yantra to be worshipped during the yaga

programme.

 

 

 

This is a very huge sacred religious programme and needs the generous

co-operation, contribution and participation from all devotees of the Divine

Mother Durga. I appeal time and again to all devotees to extend their might for

the successful conduct and completion of the Yajna and seek the blessings of the

Universal Mother.
