Jai Mata Di!

I don't know where I heard of this but is it true that while Lord Rama was

bringing Sita Devi home to Ayodhya, that He felt a little pride in the fact that

he had killed the Demon Ravana and boasted to Sita that he could have killed a

thousand Ravanas? Then Devi Sita smiled and made a thousand Ravanas to appear

and asked Lord Rama to slay these demons. Then Rama attempted to do so but the

thousand Ravanas made all of Rama's army disappear. So then Rama felt humbled

and asked Shakti for assistance. Upon withdrawing his pride, Sita Devi

transformed into Maha Kali and destroyed the thousand Ravanas.

I'm not sure where I learned of this but I am interested in knowing more about

it. I would appreciate it if someone could direct me to the source.

Thank you!

Raj
