Guest guest
Namaste, Here are some general comments: 1. sAdhana involves both the seer and the seen. 2. seen is a reflection of the seer. 3. It follows from (1) that mantra and yantra involve both the seer and the seen. If a need is felt for whatever reason to draw a line between seer and the seen, one may use vedantic reasoning. 4. Finally sAdhanA is personal and there can be no general rules. (There are some people who believe the goal of sAdhanA is to negate prakRti, I personally feel that sAdhanA is to transcend prakRti, i.e. prakRti continues to exist without binding the seer.)
