Guest guest
Pranams. With my negligible knowledge this mail is sent ,there could be some misunderstanding on the subject and may not answer the query of the devotee directly but nevertheless would keep the discussion on this important subject alive till some learned devotee answers. In the “ 60 Namavalies” starting from LS 475 to LS 534, the Vaak Devies worship Lalitha Devi’s form as “YOGINI”. This is known as Yogini Nyasa krama ( Laghu Shoda Nyasa which is done with the use of Aksharas – from Akarathi to kshkara for each yogini) The yogini nyasa is done from Agnya chakra to sahasrara. The yoginies are also popularly known as “ daralakasahaya “ ( derived from the first alphabet of the yogini Eg : Da stands for Dakini Ra for Rakhini and so on) These yoginies are the adhishtana Devatha of each chakra in our body and the seven yoginies also represent the dathus in the body – like dakini for the skin, Rakini for the blood,Lakini for the muscles,Kakini for the fat, Sakini for the bones, Hakini for the Majja or bone marrow and Yakini for the Shuklam of the human body. It is said by worshipping yogines one can win over the Pancha Bhutas. For Each of the Yogini there exists Dhyana Shloka which reveals the form, place of existence, weapons they carry etc. each of the yogini is surrounded by parivara Devathas also. ( ref LS 511 “Bhandhinyadhi Samanvitha “ Kakini surrounded by like Bhandhini,Bhadra Kaali, Maha Maya, Yashasvini, Raktha, Lambhoshti .) The LS discloses the form of Dakini and Rakini only. In view of these there should be special procedures for worship of chakra devatas which an Expert can only guide. Such experts are Yogies as the upasana is done Antharmukha with the body itself treated as Sri Chakra. She who unfolds through such Yoga and therefore She is known as Yogya in LS 655 and Yogni in LS 653. She is also Yogadha as per LS 653 as She gives us the yoga. The ideal offering as Neiveidyam comprises of Payasannam for dakini, Annam with ghee for rakini,Annam mixed with Jaggery for lakini, annam with Curd for kakini, Annam with Dhal as in Pongal forsakini, yellow colored aannam for hakini and All Misc Annam like Shakambhari annam or Tamrind rice for yakini. Ideally from the location and the name tvakstha she may be connected to throat and skin ailments. Is this a correct conclusion? Also are there spcific temples in India connected to these chakra devata-s?
