Mis use of Sriyantra in Kali Yuga

I fully agree. If ignorant people keep the yantra and if it is damaged it will

damage the body of the owner in the same way, thats what i have heard.

I second the writings of Sri Ganapatyji. In the same

backdrop it would be pertinent to note that Srividya

and tantra shastras have got a very bad name due to

the mischevious acts of a few corrupt individuals. In

fact the number of people being cheated in the name of

Srividya/Sri Yantra seems to be more than genuine

upasakas. We should always remember that this is a

medium to obtain Lalita Sayujya and not for

commercializing the scriptures or its injunctions or

achieving fame.

 

I have seen the Sriyantras which have been marketed on

television as also some "blessed/infused with energy,

Reiki etc" bought by a few acquaintences of mine from

a few "YOGIS", obviously from the Himalayas, no less.

It is anything but a srichakra!! The bindu is

generally in a pretty sad state as for other lakshanas

like kesara, dala dvaya akasha, sandhis etc the less

said the better.

 

I think posts advertising sale of such yantras should

not be encouraged on this forum.
