1)This chandramAna year "pArthiva" will

be dedicated to Sri lalitA sahasranAma.

 

2) All the subject lines should contain

either a name from the text or the verse

number in the pUrva and uttara portion.

 

3) No other subjects will be allowed,

except the ongoing series like

Thirumurai and ADMIN posts. Every week,

there will one ADMIN post (if needed)

with subject "Announcements" to share

information. Besides, at the discretion

of the administrators, some posts will

be allowed. But even those posts with

have the tag ADMIN in the subject line.

 

4) A standard transliteration should be

followed by all. Otherwise, searching

becomes a pain. Transliteration chosen

is from ITRANS and something that

closely follows the normal writing. For

instance, in English we write Lalita, a

transliteration lalitA would mean the

same in case insensitive search.

 

5) What is posted should not be a cut &

paste from WWW. But can be from

published books. More than copyright

violations, we are concerned about

creating a new internet content.

 

6) Translations can be posted in any

language, provided you chose to add an

English translation with it. Clearly

mention the language in the beginning of

the text. Use ITRANS if it is an Indian

language.

 

7) Posting of the names need not follow

the order. It can be any order.

 

8) Entire discussion will be constructed

as a single file and posted on the

website. And work will be under free

documentation license of GNU. Please

post only if you agree to that.
