Guest guest
Dear respected devotees of Ambaa-l, I trust all names of her are guiding lights to lead us towards HER and grant us mukti. This more looks like some(why some? The most important) vidya/sadhana to me. But when I narrow down my dristi to any single name of her being pronouced from my with-in and comes out as several vibrations. I noticed when I 'said' HER name 'once', but it is actually being told multiple times by my vocal chord vibrations or something like 'GhantA nAda' - sound of bell, whose sound reverberations we can feel even after we sounded the bell. As you notice here, I do not know any technical jargon around this act.So please be considerate to understand what I am trying to say with my little knowledge. These reverberations of my vocal chord are faintly telling what name that I just pronounced in faint but subtle form, still giving quality essence of that name, also actually allowing my mind/buddhi to contemplate on that name more than when actually I am pronouncing it.When I am pronoucing it is more like quasi-mechanical way, where my part-of-will is used to move vocal chords according to name etc. But time during these reverberations - I like this more because I get a chance full-time to drink essence of what I just initiated and still reverberating by itself and allowing my mind to drink the nector. So rather than any name of HER, I like the reverbation time that follows chanting each of her name. But behold. what about the silence that comes after reverbation. THAT - I cannot contain in words here. You must all be experiencing that. Silence must be heard (some song title from music group Enigma) And it is true and more true for our LSN chanting, atleast for me. Om ShrI mAtrE namaH Prasada. Dear Sri Prasad: A very nice insight. The eloquence of silence in this matter over powers the words. More so as She is manovAchAmagOcharA. What you say will also help us to immerse in one name and enjoy it well, rather than hurrying from one name to the next. Ravi
