Guest guest
Is Shiva – Vishnu – Ambaa different ? Through numerous pramanas we know that Shiva and Shakthi is Same. (When the Static Shiva wanted to Create and become many , it became the dynamic Shakthi ). When the Shuddha Chaithanyam -- Brahmman due to Maya became dual as “ Dharmam and Dharmi.” The ParaShiva is Dharmi . Later the Dharmam became dual as the male and female form. The male form of Dharmam known as Maha Vishnu maintains the Creation through the energy of the female form of Shakthi. The cosmos is nothing but the Sum Toto of these 3 forms. Appayya Dixit has dealt this in detail in his commentary known as “ Rathna Thrya Pareeksha “ with many references from Puranas. Pujya Bhaskara Raya also quotes from this grantham. In LS Ambaa ji is known as Narayani, Govinda Rupini, Vishnu Rupini, Vaishnavi. Mukunda etc As the source of Dharmam is the Para - Brahman, Ambaa is known as sister to Vishnu (Therefore She is Padmanabha Sahodhari ). Also in the Vishnu Sahasranamam there are similar namavalies having the meaning of LS. That would be the subject matter of a separate mail. But if one observes despite the non duality of Shiva , Shakthi and Vishnu, the LS Uttara Bhaga delares that there can be Nothing Equivalent to the Manthra of Sri Manthraram, Devatha equivalent Lalitha ji, or any Sahasranama equivalent to LS declaring Ambaa OM the Most Superior. It is also said that the Shiva sahasranama is superior to Vishnu Sahasranama and more so is LS to Shiva Sahasranam . The reasons as to why one is superior than the other and Ambaa Om is Most Superior is also found in the meanings of the Shloka in uttara Bhaga , which would be the subject of the next mail.
