LS – 393 “ PrabhAvathy “

There are eight Avarana Devathas in the form of siddhies, accompanimemts. They

are “Anima, Mahima, Llaghima, Garima,Prapathi, Prakamya, Ishitva and Vashitva

siddhies”. These avarana devathas are also described as “ Prabhas” and

worshipped during sri Vidya Nava Varana Puja.

Prabhavathy is the one who is surrounded by Shakthies such as Anima etc. All

these have radiated from the body of Ambaa ji. Her divine effulgence with Aglow

is Prabhavathy.

Therefore it implies that glow without which, all the visible world does not

exist. ( devi Nama Vilasa ).

It is that splendor of Her’s which brings into being all this super galaxies,

black energy, super nova and the very little known to human beings in the form

of Astral Science.

The divine Mom pervades the whole Universe and the Veda mantra praises Her as “

Na Tatro Suryo Bhathi na Chandra tarakam…………… Vibhathi -- which means “

although the Sun and other luminaries are said to self luminous – YET they Do

Not Shine Forth of Themselves but they shine by the light of Supreme being (

AMBAA OM ).

The Siddhies are also attractions which divert the Yogi from the main spiritual

path and a true Yogi should win over these obstacles by the Grace Of Ambaa.

Also in the SL reference to the Shlokam 30 which goes as “Animadhi Bhiravrutham

Mayukai ….. “ the meaning may be referred to here.
