Guest guest
Sorry for reopening this discussion, but I was curious if modifications were allowed to the sankalpa formula in the dEShoccaraNa (mention of spatial coordinates) if one were located in Southeast Asia (i.e. Singapore/Phillipines) or in the Orient (China, Hong Kong) etc. as the references to bharathakhaNDe relate to India particularly. Thereby my question is, whether changes should be made in the formula as to the dvIpa, khaNDe, etc. to cite the proper orientation of the pUjApAdA(place of worship)? , Ravisankar Mayavaram <abhayambika@g...> wrote: > On 9/20/05, Gopi <antarurjas> wrote: > > Dear all > > > > When we say "meroh dakshiNey parsvay", are we > > mentioning the spatial or the temporal coordinates? > > > > what is considered as Meru here?
