many pranams to all of this group on this auspicious day. i have

submitted the given below lines and kindly correct my mistakes if

any.

LS – 678

bhAshA rUpA

1. many people think that the languages are created by men and the

tools for human communication. some think that the languages are

the medium for dhevAs, etc also. the languages are known with

feminine gender and we call as mother tongue, mAtru bhAsha, etc.

elders say that the language explain the culture, experience

(anubhavA), refinement and the mentality of that people.

LS says that the languages are SHE only.

mAtA is in the form of languages. they are not just communicative

tools but SHE only.

we have heard and seen leaders mesmerizing people with their talks

or writings. Guru gives gnana with his/her upadEshA which is a form

of language (vAk dhIkshA). only because SHE is there in the words

(not only sounds but also the talk), sishyA is able to get the

anubhavA. it is nothing but the manisfestation of ambA in another

form.

the person who understands that the languages in any form (writing,

speeches, songs, poems, etc) are nothing but she only, could able to

get the anubhavA as well as could transfer the same to others.

example is the first speech in u.s.a. by swami vivekananda.

it is also evident from the words of our elders that we should not

misuse the language for scolding, cursing etc. we are doing apachArA

to mAtA by doing so.

another one thing cleared here is, she is "also" in the form of

languages other than many forms explained in LS.

Comparison:

saint kumarguruparar says in his mInAkshiamman piLLaitthamizh,

(while he renders this particular poem in front of king tirumalai

nAyakkA, mInAkshi dEvi comes in the form of a girl child and

presents a hArA to the saint), that she is the essence/taste of

tamizh language (in other words she is the language only) (thuraith

thInthamizhin ozhugu narunchuvaiyE).

kandapurAnam in thamizh says that murugA (subramanyA) himself is

thamizh language. his 18 eyes (3 eyes each in each head) represent

18 letters, hands represent 12 vowel letters, shakti Ayudha

(vElAyudha) is represented by another letter unique to thamizh like

the Ayudha unique to subramanyA. totally he is the form of thamizh

language (i am not aware that any other language is compared like

this with any god) aruNagirinAtar also says that murugA is the

thamizh language. siva also praised like this in shaiva tirumurais.

2. bhAshAbhi rUpyathEy - she is known by the languages. in

other words she is giving her knowledge thru languages. here it

means that the languages are the tools for "her" to give the gnAna

to the souls. we can presume that the languages are not confined to

human languages alone but it includes those of non humans.

Comparison : for the stanza in tiruppAvai song "kIsu kIsenRengum

Anaicchattan kalandu pEsina pEccharavam" - it is explained that the

bhAradwAja birds (called as AnaicchAttan birds in thamizh) chant the

nAmA of krishnA in their language as kIsu kIsu or kisu kisu.

(krishnA becomes kisu)

like bhagavatpAda said the argyA given to the ocean with the water

taken from that ocean only, we praise the ammA with the words given

by her only.

3. she is vAkdEvi. She is the creator of all languages. (it is

important to note that the languages are not created by us)

if there is any mistake, it is my own only and not on the part of

the others. i beg your pardon for the same if any.

with many pranamas on this saraswathi pooja day
