Hi,

 

I am a devotee of the Divine as the Mother and this term is new to me

"VamAchara"

can some body kindly thow some light on what this is and why is this

not entertained by genuine bhaktas of Shrimaata?...

vAmAchAra is an uncoventional way of worshipping devI and shiva.

 

It does not suit most seekers and also features some antinomian

practices which is why it is discouraged.

 

Added to that, its practices contain elements which go against the

smritis and hence dvija-s i.e. the first three varNa-s can follow this

practice only in a modified way by substituting with sattvic elements.

 

Practitioners of vAmAchAra are by no means "ungenuine" or fake.
