Guest guest
i had the good fortune of visiting the Devi at Sapthashringi on the way back from Trayambakeshwar. It is an awe inspiring experience, after the long climb up the hill you are suddenly in front of this absolutely raw form of the Devi, the power is immediately palpable even after 8 some odd years just hearing the name is enough to bring a vivid picture to my mind. Just as the unsurpasing beauty and grace of the Devi in Madurai brings tears of admiration, even so does her display of absolute strength here in Sapthashringi evokes a complete surrender. i found the following pictures on the internet http://images.sahajayoga.ru/pics/Sva/Saptashringi.jpg and http://images.sahajayoga.ru/pics/Devi.jpg Thank you for the remembrance kshaNamAtra.m na shaknomi jIvitu.m tvatkrpAm vinA | na hi jIvanti jalajA jala.m tyaktvA jalAshryA || vishwam --- Satish Arigela <satisharigela wrote: > A freind of mine happened to visit some ancient > shrines with his family in Maharashtra and sent me a > brief account of his trip. > > I am forwarding it here as it might be of interest > to > people. > > sa. > > Mail - PC Magazine Editors' Choice 2005
