i had the good fortune of visiting the Devi at

Sapthashringi on the way back from Trayambakeshwar. It

is an awe inspiring experience, after the long climb

up the hill you are suddenly in front of this

absolutely raw form of the Devi, the power is

immediately palpable even after 8 some odd years just

hearing the name is enough to bring a vivid picture to

my mind.

Just as the unsurpasing beauty and grace of the Devi

in Madurai brings tears of admiration, even so does

her display of absolute strength here in Sapthashringi

evokes a complete surrender.

I too had the opportunity of visiting SAPTASRINGI MAATA temple last week. My god

! She is so big that it is difficult to forget. One should see her atleat once

in life.She is standing still before my eyes.
