Somewhere in this group, I remember reading a message,

Saying there are 4 different navaratris that some devi bhaktas observe.

I am not sure about their names.

But the timings they given are all being shukla paxa navaratris - i.e

from prathama to Navami, some saying that upasakas can continue their

navaratra vrata till pourNami too, as SHE is nitya.

And these navaratris coming in - chaitra, ashvaija, mAgha, and

either pushya/Magha.

 

If last one is pushya then navaratri starts today - dec 31,2005.

NOW..

let me see this way,

when my neighbour come to visit my home, will I celebrate 'festival'

on that occasion? answer: NO.

 

When the person that I admire most comes to my home, then I may

celebrate festival.

 

Then what about great SrIVidya upasakAs who are identifying theirself

to the higherself/Goddess Lalitha, and their lakshyam is being SHE,

And they do all daily kriya, nyAsa, more importantly imagine her abode

within themselves all the time, isn't their life itself is a prolonged

evergreen festival to themselves as well to us- normal others around.

 

no wonder one feels festive mood when in the sannidhi of them while

physically being with them or by our thoughts centered on them.

 

Let us observe HER(nava-cakrEsvari's) Na-va-ra-thra through our

nava-randhra deha all the time possible.and pray her to make it

feasible in our false limitations that came with avidya - to which she

is the goddess too.

 

By the way, personally if I like to vote for the fourth navaratri

Pushya/Magha, I would vote for Magha for personal reasons.
