Krishna responded to Sam Rengi's question by saying

that Lord Vishnu is exempt from karma in his avataarams.

I find that hard to believe simply because in Rama and

Krishna avataaram He is mortal (technically). In a specific case killing

Vali in Rama avataaram is not considered

pavam nor karma? I was told that it was considered as karma,

and that in the Krishna avataaramthe Lord gives Vali an

opportunity to kill the mortal Krishna. Isn't karma the

basis for this incidence? Or did I miss the point? Neeraj
