I came across this version recently when a friend had his upanayanam at the Siva Vishnu temple in DC. "hari: Om thath srigOvindha gOvindha gOvindha aSya sri .... etc etc etc... dhvitheeyaparaartthE srisvEtha varaahakalpE vaivaSvatha manNmantharE, kaliyugE, this is Vaivasvata manvanthare - the manu-antara ( manvantara ) of the Manu Vivasvat.. "prathamOpaathE, jamboodhveepE, baarathavarshE amerikkaa kaNdE sakaapthE mErO: dhaxiNE paarcvE aSmin varttha maanNE the continent we are on is krauncha kanTa, and "america" has been sanskritized to "ramaNaka varsha".. So, krauncha kaNTe, ramaNaka varshe..
