Guest guest
The following is a comment by Sri u.ve. Sri raamadhEsikaacharyaar Swaami found right after his commentary of the 7th sloka of Swami Sri dhEsikar's dhasaavathaara sthOthram, the one about parasuraamar. This is in page 39 of Sri dhEsika sthOthramala, published by LIFCO. \bt parasuraama avadhaaram maRRa avadhaarangaLaip pOnRadhanRu. siRandha Or andhaNaridam emperumaan than sakthi mudhaliyavaRRaip pugach seydhu pala athisayach seyalgaLaich seyviththaan. pinbu chakravarththith thirumaganaaga avadhariththapOdhu parasuraamaridamirundha dheyveegach sakthi mudhaliyavaRRaip paRiththukkoNdaan. aadhalin ivvavadhaaram maRRa avadhaarangaLaippOl emperumaanudaiya nEr avadhaaramanRu. \et Rough translation: Parasuramar's avadhaaram is different from the other avathaarams. Our Lord empowered an outstanding brahmin and performed many spectacular deeds. Later, when our Lord came down to this earth as Sri Rama, He took back all the godly powers from Parasurama. Therefore, unlike other avathaarams, Parasurama avathaaram is not a direct avathaaram of our Lord. =========End of translation================== -- Parthasarati Dileepan
