Guest guest
as for example: GLOBAL SRI VAISHNAVA THONDAR KUZHAAM or PROGRESSIVE SRI VAISHNAVA THONDAR KUZHAAM etc. My suggestion of English word is for the prefix. For example I prefer Progressive Sri Vaishnava Thondar Kuzhaam instead of Munetra Sri-Vaishnava Thondar Kuzhaam. Sincerely, K. Sreekrishna(Tatachar) ---End of forwarded mail from kotisreekrishna **************************************************************** I think that one of the major purpose of this kuzhaam is to deal with the 108 temple organisations and the books and journals and mutts that "deal" with them (those 108 temples). Since most of them are in Tamil Nadu state , I feel that a Tamil name in its entirety may be the best choice. The dealings of the kuzhaam in North america (ie advertisement etc) will be carried through the proposed journal and hence the journal may have an ENglish global name and some component of the thondar or sri vaishnavaa or prpatti. In my view what is important is the name of the "brand" than who is holding it. We may otherwise think of NorthAmerican name for the product ie the CD instead of 108 Divya Desam for a more receivable name (while I am not suggesting that this is not a receivable name(ie it is a good name as such), I am only providing a thought that it depends on the market being targeted, whether they will understand this 108 DD or not) . Otherwise the name "Thondar Kuzhaam" and "108 DD" may be left as it is.Even though profitability and marketing are not the major concerns for this project my thoughts were merely to present the rational for a name.
