Guest guest
Dear Bhagavatottamas, I was just going to post a shlokam on Sri. Tirumazhisai Azhwar and request either Sri Dileepan or Sri Sadagopan to post more information on the Vaibhavm of the Azhwar. The Lord has answered my request through Sri. Dileepan's post. MakhAyam Makare MAse Chakramsham Bhargavodbhavam MahisArapurADhEsham BhaktisAramaham Bhaje. I worship Bhaktisara, who was born as the son of Bhargava in Mahisapuram (Tirumazhisai) in the month of Makaram (Jan-Feb) under the asterism of Makham as a manifestation of the Chakram of Lord Narayana (Sudarshana Chakram). This Azhwar was not wealthy. Nor did he hold a prominent position. However, his Bhakti to Lord Narayana made him greater than the greatest monarchs. His sole occupation was to collect flowers and Tulasi leaves, string them into a garland and offer them to Lord Narayana. Another reference to this Azhwar can be found in the Shlokam "Sri Bhaktisara Kulashekara Yogi vahAm" Azhwar Tiruvadigale Sharanam, Muralidhar Rangaswamy
