Guest guest
Dear Vaishnavas: With regard to Jaganath's posting on Gaudiya Vaishnavism, I have few querries: > of attaining Narayana to Narayana. In our sampradayam there is a > prayer specifying the time at which one attains moksha. What is that prayer? Not being familiar with Sanskrit, I cannot tell you since this is probably not written down anywhere. But what is done for us is Dripta Prapatti where the period specified is the end of this life. >What is different is methods of worship and chanting of mantras. Could you please talk more about these? Thanks These differences are endless. For example Our Achamanam is Achyuta, Ananta and Govinda with Pranava prefix and namah suffix. For Chaitanya sampradaya it is Kesava, Madhava, Govinda. We worship Lakshmi Narayana, Lakshmi Nrsimha etc. They worship Radha Madan Mohan, Radha Govinda, Radha Gopinatha etc. We chant the 4,000 during aradhana, they have their own Bengali and Sanskrit Bhajans. Both sampradayas follow Pancharatra agamas for aradhana. Jaganath.
