Guest guest
On behalf of my mother and myself, I request Sri. Sadagopan to continue with his excellent postings on diversified subjects. His postings on various subjects (Sri Vaishnava Philosophy to Music Composers) are informative and appealing. I apologize for being remiss in acknowledging the value of the postings. One of the human weakness is taking things for granted. In this case, assuming that Silence is conveying appreciation. I have always wondered how he finds the time to address in detail the various postings. Sometimes I am complaining at home that I do not find time even to read the postings as much as I would like to do! And It is amazing that he spends his time to research and translate for the benefit of fellow Sri Vaishnavas. I am particularly enjoying the series on Dhanur Maasam for a few logical personal reasons! In the joint family home I grew up in Bangalore, during Dhanur Maasam we used to have our family vaadiyar come every day early morning and perform pooja and recite Thiruppaavai. VeNNpongal and sakkarai pongal were eaten in galore! Secondly, my husband's parents were following the same tradition. In fact my father-in-law's name is Sri Garudachar (Sri Vishnuchittar's amsam), quite common in Karnataka Sri Vaishnava Iyengar families. My husband's name is Rangamannar being born in ThiruVaadi Pooram! My parents named me Choodi kOdutttha Naacheeyaar since I was born in Maargazhi maasam. May I use this opportunity to convey my thanks to the other contributors such as Sri Sampath Rangarajan, Sri Sudharshan, Sri Krishna Kalale, Sri Mani Varadarajan, Sri Dileepan, Sri Anbil Ramaswamy, Sri Muralidharan Rangaswamy, Sri Jaganath Bharadwaj, Sri V. Sundar et al for the various postings over the year! I am sure I left out other names due to short memory!. My sincere apologizes. Best Wishes for a Happy New Year! I will miss the postings during Office planned shutdown from 12/24 thru 1/2/97. I wish the organizers of the Buffalo Satsang all the best.
