Guest guest
Perhaps we should restrain ourselves in our emotions. I think, personally, the "brahmins" of Perum-puliyur are an exemplary set of 'bhAgavatAs' and I wish we had several more like them amongst our community in India ( I can't talk about the US ) !! They had the humility to realize their mistake (too much emphasis on 'sAdhAraNa-dhrmA' !!) and atone for it to the Alwar by even prostrating at his feet !! How many would have had the moral courage (sense of "visEsha-dharmA"!!) to do that!? The incident serves not only to portray the greatness of the Alwar but I think more importantly it serves as a great reminder of how true "brahmins" -- of whatever jAthi -- conduct themselves !! Let's look at it that way, please, dear 'bhAgavatOttamA-s'. I humbly request that there be no "walk-outs" from this "bhakti-list". Everyone's views are so interesting to be heard and especially Sri.Murali Rangaswamy's. Let him not deprive us all of his fine thoughts and experiences. "Walk-outs" are only done in the Indian Lok Sabha !! Can't we all be please a little more "democratic" without getting personally offended !! Please, please, please let's all cool down !! sudarshan
