A free translation:

-------------------

I (AzhwAr) was blessed to have the dharshan of sri rAmA who was always

prayed by bharathA-chathrukna and lakshmaNa-mythili,

the rAmA who killed rAvaNA, the rAmA who is my Lord, at thiruvallikkENi.

ThiruvallikkENi is a place filled with the fragrance of the kurava flowers, in

pleasant cool groves where cuckoos and peococks dance. It is a place where the

suns's rays cannot penetrate. (This describes the place filled with big dense

trees which prevent the sun's rays and thereby providing nice shadow)

Word for word Translation:

Sri PBA explains the reason for pairing LakshmaNA with sItA through this

reference, " na cha sItA thvayA hInA nachAhamapi rAghava-muhoorthamapi jIvAvO

jalAn mathsyA vivOththruthow" (the translation goes something like this:

LakshmaNA tells rAmA,"oH rAghavA, You and sItA are inseparable and so am I.

like a fish in water..." - could somebody help me out here..
