Guest guest
Dear Bhagavathas, I spent part of my work day today exchanging some poignant E-mails with a member of this forum who stated that I was overstepping my bounds in discussing the issue of karma and prapatti with Mr. Dileepan. While I was somewhat pained at first with what this individual had to say, I now realize that this person's views of me are very correct. Based on this, I present the following: Being US raised and educated, and having come from a relatively non-traditional background, it is not for me to discuss such deeply philosophical issues as the ones that we have been addressing this week. My enthusiasm and interest in our Sampradayam is very much His gift to me. But the years of readings that I have done does not all make me qualified to boldly make interpretations or quotes as to the teachings of our poorvacharyas. And, it should certainly not be considered equivalent to the experience and first hand insights that all of you in this group have. Consequently, I would like to discontinue postings of the kind that I have made this week, and in the past, in order to better serve in my role as a student and disciple of our Sampradayam. Please note that by this I am not leaving the forum or reducing my strong support for it. However, I am planning to mainly limit my postings to questions rather than presentations or musings. In this way, I can allow myself to learn something, instead of clouding this bandwidth with my own limited ideas. I sincerely apologize if my thoughts and musings have offended anyone. adiyEn SriVaishnava Daasan, Mohan
