Dear Learned Bhaktas,

 

For the bhakti-yogi, is it really true that he or she must

pass away during the uttarAyaNa? I know Bhishma waited for

this period, but I was under the impression that Ramanujacharya

has interpreted this metaphorically in the Gitabhashya, and

that death at any time for a bhakti-yogi is OK. In fact, I

believe Sage Badarayana in the Brahma Sutras quite clearly

says that the time of death is irrelevant to a bhakti-yogi.

 

Krishna, can you check up on this?
