Guest guest Posted July 24, 1997 Report Share Posted July 24, 1997 Dear Members of the Bhakti List, Srimad Paundarikapuram Ashramam has planned a grand celebration of the 151st Tirunakshatram of Sri ViNNaRRangarai Srinivasa Mahadesikan, the founding father of the Ashramam, on August 15, 1997. The festivities include Veda Parayanam, Divya Prabandham recitation, discourses on various aspects of Bhagavad Ramanuja Darshanam by learned scholars, and Tadiaradhanai. Currently, plans are underway to publish the conference proceedings in five languages. Several luminaries and Yativaras, who have selflessly served the cause of our Sampradayam and have made outstanding contributions to our Kula Dhanam, from around the country have agreed to participate in the Sadas. The estimated expenses for this event is Rs. 3,00,000. The Ashramam appeals to all interested Bhagavatas to generously support this Kainkaryam. Contributions made from the USA are tax exempt if the donations are sent to: Sri Ahobila Muth 5 Pissaro Court Gaithersburg, Md 20878 Please mail your checks for this Kainkaryam by August 5, 1997 if possible. Also, please indicate on your check that your contribution is for Srimad Paundarikapuram Ashramam. This is a wonderful opportunity for Bhagavatas of this group to undertake Acharya Seva and receive the blessings of H.H. Srimad Andavan Swamigal and Bhagavan Lakshmi Hayagriva (the Aradhana Murthy of the Ashramam). My personal contribution for this Kainkaryam is $508, which I have directly remitted with the Ashramam.
