O God, who knowest the means of attainment, remove all obstacles coming in our way! We offer unto thee salutation with the expression of `namah:` " ---- ya: brahmaaNam vidadhaati puurvam ya: vai vedaamshca prahiNoti tasmai; tam ha devam aatmabudhi prakaasham mumukshhu: vai sharaNam aham prapadye" [shvetaashvatara upanishhad 6.18] " I, as an aspirant of mokshha, seek refuge in that effulgent God who creates Brahma first and who verily delivers to him the vedas." ########### Bhagavad Giita supporting surrender: daivii hi eshhaa guNamayii mama maayaa duratyayaa ; maam eva ye prapadyante maayaam etaam taranti te [bhagavad Giita 7.14 ] " Verily, this divine illusion of Mine, constituted of the guNas, is difficult to cross over; those who devote themselves to Me alone, cross this illusion. " ---- tam eva sharaNam gaccha sarva bhaavena bhaarata ; tatprasaadaat paraam shaantim sthaanam praapsyasi shaashvatam [ Bhagavad Giita 18.62 ] " Take refuge in Me with all your heart, O Bhaarata! By His grace shall you attain Supreme peace (and) eternal abode " ---- and of course, the final verse (carama shloka) by the Lord: sarva dharmaan parityajya maamekam sharaNam vraja; aham tvaam sarva paapebhya: mokshyayishhyaami maa shucha: .
