NAMA Chapters Pongal Events

Many NAMA Chapters are celebrating Thiruppaavai/Pongal events. Please

attend and support these events in your local areas and pass on the info

to your friends and relatives. Please contact the local chapter

coordinators for additional details. We would like aditional volunteers

to start chapters in other areas currently not active in NAMA. Please

1. Houston Chapter First NAMA Event

 

Dr. K. Saranathan and his wife Nirmala (my cousin) are having the first

NAMA event on Sunday, 11 January 1998 to observe Koodarai Vellum, at

their residence in Sugarland, Texas. The program is from 9-11 AM. The

program will start with Purusha Suktham, Sri Suktham and Thiruppaavai,

followed by a brief introduction of NAMA objectives. Prasadam will be

2. SAN FRANCISCO / BAY AREA Pongal on Jan 18th 1998 at at the Hindu Temple

Community Center,

Sunnyvale from 11.00 a.m. -2 p.m. For additional information, please

3. Atlanta/Chattanooga/Huntsville

 

Saturday, 10th January 1998, Dhanur Masam, Thiruppaavai 28th day

(Koodarai vellum) at the residence of Smt.Harini and Belur Dasarathy of

4. Dallas/Fort Worth/Arlington Area

 

The next Chapter event is on Saturday, 10th January 1998, Dhanur Masam,

Thiruppaavai 28th day (Koodarai vellum). Please contact Smt. Vimala

5. Singapore

 

The next chapter event is planned for 30 or 31 January at the residence

of Ramanujam Kope. For information, please contact Dr. Sridhar Uppili

6. New Jersey/New York
