##dehe ## = body;

##tyaagita ## = give up;

##kiirti ## = fame;

##maage ## = behind;

##uraavii ## = should leave.

##manaa ## = oh, my mind!;

##sajjanaa ## = cultured;

##hechi ## = this alone;

##kriiyaa ## = acts;

##dharaavii ## = perform.

##cha.ndanaache ## = sandalwood;

##parii ## = like;

##tvaa.n ## = you;

##jhijaave ## = suffer for others' sake.

##parii ## = however;

##a.ntarii ## = in the heart;

##sajjanaa ## = gentle,upright people;

##niivavaave ## = offer joy.

Let fame prevail after one's death,

Thus alone lead your life, oh! my gentle and upright Mind!
