Guest guest
Dear BhAgavatottama-s: Two days back I saw the passionate appeal from SrImAn Sadagopan for tolerance of other viewpoints while sharing our views on what some of us have learned from our AcArya-s, what we do not consider to be appropriate on the part of others, etc. I hope everyone in the list can follow SrImAn Sadagopan's advice and follow those in our outside life as well as in our correspondence in the bhakti list. I was disturbed to see that the exchange of information in our list has caused one more member (Balaraman Sriram)to feel that expressing his views was not received in a spirit of tolerance. I would like to endorse SrImAn Sadagopan's advice that he so kindly posted a couple of days back. It will be my sincere wish that we can all commit to ensure that there is no more instance of another member having to feel that he/she could not feel free to share their thoughts, however incorrect they may be. I am not in any way advocating that we should all ignore anything we do not to, but I believe there is a way in which disagreement can be communicated in a spirit of humility, tolerance, and understanding. If the only way we can express our views is by making someone else feel hurt, then I believe we have an opportunity to learn something to improve ourselves. -dAsan kr*shNamAcAryan > --------------- MESSAGE bhakti.v002.n617.4 --------------- "Balaraman M Sriram" <srirambm A few words...
