My name is Jaya Tirtha Charan dasa I'm a member of Iskcon since 1973-74,

spent some four years in India, have visited all over the south; Sri

Rangam, Rameshwaram / Dhanushkoti, Melkote, Kumbakonam, Swamimalai,

Mangalgiri, Upper & Lower Ahobalam, Yatgiriguta, Mantralayam, Udupi,

Guruvayur, Madurai, Parthasarathi - Triplicane, Tirumala / Tirupathi,

Trivandrum PadmanabhaSwami, Simhachalam, Vijayanagara (Hampi), etc., and

similarly in the north Kali Gandaki, Vyas Goofa, Saligram tirtha, Dwaraka,

Vrindavan, Mathura, Navadwip, Kurukshetra, Haridwar, Ayodhya, Prayag,

Udaipur, Jaipur, Jagannath Puri, Remuna, Bhubaneshwar, etc., etc.

 

With our Gopal Bhatta Goswami coming from Sri Rangam I very much appreciate

the philosophy, rituals, and overall mood of the Sri Vaishnavas, who always

so kindly assisted and welcomed us whenever visiting a temple in the

Dravidadesh, or visiting friends that I've made over the years.

 

I really appreciate the Bhakti list, and while not contributing much, I

eagerly read all the postings every day.
