Sanskrit research in Melkote

Dear Bhagavathas,

 

Humble pranaams.

 

Few days back there was a news item in tv (in India).

I did not see it fully.

 

It was about Sanskrit being used at Melkote research

centre for artificial intelligence (If I got it right)

The video clipping had interview with few

Srivaishnavite sanskrit scholars one of whom explained

what they are doing etc., with Sanskrit text parsing,

direct interaction with computer without a higher

level language.

 

Hope some members of this list can throw more light

on this.

at the sansrit Academy of Melkote under

the leadership of Sri Lakshmi Tatachar .

Professor Alwar is the son of this illustrious

scholar and I have copied him on this note

for additional information on the programs

that you referred to . Some of the members of

this group , who have visited this pioneering

center can add more information .
