Guest guest
Sri ANDAL thiruvadikaLE saraNam nArAyaNaNE namakkE paRai tharuvAn. thirup pAvai - part 58 - "tharuvAn" - - oru poruL viLakkam Dear bAgawathAs, "paRai" is also conceived by some as the gunAs such as nyAnam and seelam for doing kaimkaryam and sAdhana upAyam. But then are we not doing the sAdhan upAyam itself already in the form of this nOnbu ? the gunAs is required for doing kaimkaryam. That is a pakkuvam or maturity to bey the orders. A discipline to carry out what is ordained. This discipline or gunam comes from lord's own blessings and we cannot acquire it or practice it ourselves as we are always under the constant influence of mAya and karmA. Only HE can make it conducive such that we are mellowed to do kaimkaryam. The tamil word "tharuvAn" means HE will provide or give or grant. There are some aspects considered as some fundamental strong points we must learn from this word. ie The word "tharuvAn" is derived from the fundamental tamil word "thA". "thA" means a request or appeal to someone to give something. kEttAl thAnE thara mudiyum. ie Only when you ask can one give something ? the Word tharuvAn as one will give is an implication that something has been asked. It also means that something has to be asked for someone to give or this nonbu or saranagathi has to be perfomed as a minimal act atleast. So this word "tharuvAn" in its fundamental derivation validate the "nOnbu" or "of asking or seeking Sri Krishna anubavam or seeking a holy matrimony with the bride groom Lord Sri Ranganatha". The other meaning is that tharuvAn is an assertion. As similar to an AchArya saying ast the end of baranyAsam Sri ANDAL confirms that HE *WILL*, repeat *definetely WILL* give us mOksham for those who are doing this nOnbu. HE will surely grant us the palan of nOnbu. Another meaning is that HE will give means HE will give in future. The palan is at the end of the birth and once we complete performing the sarangathi and observe all the protocols to the best of our ability.
