Guest guest
Dear Members, By tomorrow i.e., Sunday, I will move the www.Srivaishnava.org domain from Geocities to Communitech.net. Due to this move, the pages may not be accessible using the above mentioned domain name. It takes about 3 days for InterNIC to reroute the traffic for this domain to the new host site. You may, however, can access the files using the IP address: http://216.88.164.146 What are the changes and reasons for the move? Some may question the reason for the move. There are a few advantages with moving to communitech. 1. Can implement search feature for Saranagati pages. This was difficult with Geocities, where searching was applicable to the entire Geo community. 2. Allows unrestricted file type support and service. We are planing to include downloadable fonts (dynamic fonts) for all tamil and Sanskrit texts. The dynamic fonts eliminate the need for installing the ttf/bdf fonts on host machines. There one down side to the move, which is short term and will be rectified as soon as possible. 1. The guest book for SaraNagati Journal will be redone. Thanks for your assistance, Venkatesh K.
