Guest guest
Dear friends, The subject for the gita class on March 14th (sunday) (4-5:30 pm pacific time; 7-8:30 pm eastern std time) will be "assessment of the Madhva Bhasya - by uttamoor viraraghavachar". Initially, I said I will not deal with this subject in detail. But after careful consideration, I thought one should know about the difference in view point between sri Madhvacharya and Sri Ramanujacharya as viewed by Sri Uttamoor Viraraghavachar - who is a wonderful gift of God to our society. Someone who was listening to the tape of the previous lecture on this subject just said - " This Uttamoor's analysis is an impartial analysis which just states what comes close to the original words of Gita; and is an impassionate assessment of the views of different schools of vedanta on Gita". Hence, I owe it to all listeners and genuine seekers of truth to experience the knowledge of the subtle differences in these bhasyas as ingeniously presented by Sri Uttamoor Viraraghavachar; I can't believe that I am thrilled by his one work on Gita; I can't imagine what I would have felt if I had understood his other works. adiyen Krishna Kalale
