Dear Bhagavatas,

I humbly submit the following to the forum for discussion;

S'abda is a dravya that inheres as an attribute in the five elements. The

elements come about when prakriti evolves from its subtle state, due to

Isvara's sankalpa.

1. Is S'abda in a dormant sate in the time between dissolution and

creation? If so, given Sruti is represented by a modification of S'abda,

what is its status during the time between creation and dissolution?

2. Is BrahmajNAna, independent of S'abda?

Adiyen,

Venkat
