I am currently studying in the U.S. and am beginning to learn Vedanta. My family is traditionally a follower of Sankaracharya, and my Ishta Devata is (mostly :-) Vishnu and I like to read the Vishnu Puranam. I have read the list archives and have found many posts which I liked because of their devotional nature, and also were very useful in understanding the Sri Vaishnava tradition better.
