Dear Bhakta-s:

In the mail from SrI Sundaram on SrI vishNu

sahasranAmam that I forwarded to the list yesterday,

there was reference to the "Lord" who pressed the

kailAsa mountain and demonstrated His mahAbala. I was

not careful enough to realize that the "Lord" being

referred to here is not mahA vishNu. I apologize for

this oversight of mine. The example quoted is not

thus directly relevant to the explanation fo Lord

vishNu's mahA balam, except that He conferred this

mahA balam on Siva. SrI Gopaul LakshmaNan was kind

enough to bring my attention to this oversight of

mine. My sincere thanks to him for pointing this out,

and my apologies to the bhakta-s for not having

explained this properly.
